Meet the Rosebury Vets Team
Our team is built on empathy, expertise, and a shared love for animals. Every one of us is here to support your pet’s well-being with care and professionalism.

Julian
Founder and Clinical Director
I am a Veterinary surgeon with a special interest in Emergency and Critical Care. I'm passionate about supporting patients through urgent and complex conditions and providing high-quality, attentive care when every moment counts. My team and myself aim to combine skilled treatment with kindness and clear communication.

Dan
Senior Veterinary Surgeon
I am delighted to be joining my long-standing colleague and friend, Julian, in his independent veterinary venture.
At Rosebury Vets, my role focuses on supporting colleagues by providing second opinions and assisting with complex diagnostic cases. Alongside my work at Rosebury Vets, I lead an international recruitment and training hub located in the Canary Islands, where we support and develop vets to the ‘UK Standards’ helping to address workforce shortages within our profession. Outside the job related commitments, I enjoy playing tennis whenever time allows.

Montserrat
Veterinary Surgeon
I was born and raised in southwest Spain, in a rural area surrounded by farms, which instilled in me a deep interest in animal care. I graduated from Complutense University of Madrid, and after moving to the UK in 2016, I worked as an OVI in Bristol and in small animal clinics in Birmingham, Cornwall, and Sussex. I am passionate about all aspects of veterinary care, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. I truly enjoy meeting people and their pets and helping when they are unwell. My hobbies include traveling, walking, swimming, and cooking Spanish food.

Poppy
Veterinary Care Assistant
My passion for animal care began at a young age. So, when I was 13, I started volunteering at a local animal sanctuary. During my time there, I helped care for a variety of animals and was fortunate enough to rescue three cats. I went on to study Animal Management at Hadlow College, where I developed my knowledge of animal behaviour, welfare, and husbandry and decided that my goal was to become an RVN. As a Veterinary Care Assistant, I enjoy supporting the veterinary team and helping pets feel as comfortable as possible during their visit. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, drawing and spending time with my cat.

Mercury
Veterinary Care Assistant
I grew up in a house full of pets - as an only child, my cats were like my furry siblings. I've carried a deep love and empathy for animals since early childhood, and I developed a particular enthusiasm for rodents in my tween years. I'm now a hamster foster carer on a mission to educate owners and save animals, both big and small, from mistreatment and neglect. I hope to climb the ladder and one day qualify as a veterinary surgeon so that I can truly save and protect animals with more than just my words. The day I set foot inside Rosebury Vets to volunteer, I felt with full confidence that this was what I wanted my life to be. I hope to be an inspiration to other “misfits” like me - to be living proof that you don't have to give up your quirks and identity to pursue a career. I couldn't be more excited about starting my journey to qualify as an RVN!
